PEACE

Ultimately what matters in life is not your networth, not your lifestyle,  not your belongings, not your designation, not your job, but whether you have peace in your heart or not. If your mind is peaceful, then you can be happy, no matter what the circumstances. Peace of mind is that elusive jewel  which the entire world yearns for, but which few are able to get. Once a person has peace, then all his prized possessions such as luxury cars, land, buildings etc are of no use to him.

Once again, we are passing through a difficult phase. Such times are times for study, experimentation and introspection.

Our social structure  has so many impediments for the independent thinker.Subtle messages, behavior of parents, acquaintances pressurize u to toe the line. Parents and family can go so far as to even disown you.

However, this time I am determined to stick to my guns, come whatever may.I have burnt my boats, so I have no option but to stick to my strategy, reposing my faith in luck and God. All these tactics are being tried on me is simply because the market is down and they do not see any hope of its revival. 

When the economy recovers and the market revives, these same people will start singing a different tune. However having seen their behavior during a downturn, this time they will see a different me. I will take my own decisions without bothering to consult anyone . I will build my house and will  never visit my parents ever again, come what may. 

It is due to their undue pressure that today I am in a unfulfilled marriage and in a career I dislike. Now that I have acquired sufficient financial security to live through the rest of my life, I will live as per my own desire and will not listen to anyone, come whatever may.
